Domain registration in the .eu zone is available only to:

  • Citizens of European Union countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway (regardless of residence).
  • Natural persons resident in EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway.
  • Organizations established in EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway.

Following Brexit (from January 1, 2021), UK citizens not residing in the EU can no longer register .eu domains.
